Does epsom salt help eczema?

My little daughter has eczema and it gets quite itchy for her. I'm looking for natural remedies to soothe her skin. I was wondering, does Epsom salt help with eczema flare-ups?

Eczema flare-ups are so annoying, especially when you want to enjoy spicy street food but fear it will trigger more itching! I heard epsom salt can sometimes dry out sensitive skin further. I'd stick to a basic soothing moisturizer and maybe a cup of herbal tea instead.

When you sweat a lot during workouts, eczema can flare up badly. Personally, I find epsom salt too harsh and drying for skin rashes. Focus on staying hydrated, wearing breathable cotton clothes, and keeping the skin barrier protected.

Hey! Epsom salt might actually dry out your skin if it is already cracked from eczema. A simple oatmeal bath or extra virgin coconut oil works wonders to soothe the itchiness naturally. Stay moisturized and happy!

I was researching this yesterday because my hands get so dry and itchy. Most dermatologists seem to suggest avoiding epsom salt for eczema since it acts like a scrub and can irritate open skin cracks. Glad I checked before trying it.

Be careful, epsom salt can strip moisture and worsen eczema. It is better to use colloidal oatmeal or consult a dermatologist.
