Does eos give cancer?
My younger sister uses a lot of EOS lip balms and lotions. She came home today asking me if EOS gives cancer because her friends were discussing it. What's the truth behind this?

Not at all! I have been using their round lip balms since college. It is just one of those viral internet rumors that has no truth to it. You can keep using them safely.

I totally get it, when you see scary headlines on social media, it makes you want to throw away all your products. But please don't worry, EOS is a certified safe brand and does not cause cancer.

No, it does not. EOS products are thoroughly tested and cleared by cosmetic safety authorities. You don't need to worry about using them.

I was curious about this too and did some digging online. It turns out some people had mild allergic reactions to some ingredients years ago, which got blown out of proportion into a cancer rumor. It is totally safe.

As someone who has worked in cosmetic distribution, I can tell you that products containing carcinogens are strictly banned from import and sale. EOS is a highly regulated brand. If you have sensitive skin, just do a patch test first.
