Does eliquis cause erectile dysfunction?

I've been taking Eliquis for a while now for a blood clotting issue. Lately, I've noticed some changes in my sexual health. Can Eliquis cause erectile dysfunction as a side effect?

It is quite rare for Eliquis to cause this directly. Sometimes the stress of having a heart condition is the main reason. Please speak to your doctor, they will surely help you find a solution.

I read so many threads about blood thinners and this issue, and it honestly got me so anxious about my own health. Don't let the anxiety build up as that makes ED worse. Check with your cardiologist to be 100% sure.

Eliquis is a blood thinner and doesn't directly cause ED according to clinical data. However, cardiovascular issues or stress can. Skip internet forums and book an appointment with your urologist to save time.

My brother-in-law was on this and felt similar issues, and our elders suggested some traditional foods for strength. But he went to his cardiologist who adjusted his blood pressure dose instead. Trust your doctor's advice over anything else.

Before changing any expensive medication like Eliquis, get a basic hormone panel and blood sugar test done. They are quite cheap and will show if the issue is due to diabetes or something else instead of the medicine.
