Does eczema go away on its own?

My cousin's eczema cleared up completely after a few years without any special treatment. Mine, however, seems to linger. Does eczema go away on its own for some people, or is it rare?

In children, it sometimes does go away or improve significantly on its own as their immune system matures. But for adults, it usually needs a bit of help with proper moisturizers and avoiding triggers. Keep an eye on it and keep their skin soft.

I just noticed some dry, itchy patches on my arms last week and I was hoping they would just disappear on their own. Do I really need to see a doctor for this, or can I wait for a few weeks to see if it clears up naturally?

I know how stressful it is to wait and hope your skin will just heal itself. I spent weeks ignoring my patches, praying they would go away, but they only got more irritated. It's much better to address it early so you don't keep worrying.

Because of my PCOS, I know that skin issues are usually linked to internal factors and don't just fix themselves overnight. While mild cases might settle down during seasonal changes, it's safer to consult a professional rather than hoping it will go away on its own.

Actually yaar, it rarely just disappears on its own without changing anything. You at least have to change your soap or start using a proper moisturizer. Don't just sit and wait for a miracle, thoda effort is needed!
