Does eczema get worse with age?

I've had eczema since I was young, and it seemed to lessen during my middle age, but now that I'm older, it's flaring up again quite badly. Does eczema typically get worse with age for some people?

Nahi bhaiya, such black and white rules don't apply. For some people, it actually reduces as they grow older because the body changes. Just keep eating simple ghar ka khana and don't take tension.

Actually yaar, my mom's eczema actually got much better as she crossed fifty. It really depends on your lifestyle and skin type, not just age. So don't stress about the future from now itself.

I worry about this so much too! What if my skin gets worse and I can't even touch water when I am old? But most studies say it usually improves or stays manageable with proper care, so let's try to stay positive.

In my case, my childhood eczema completely went away by the time I was twenty. It only comes back slightly during very cold winters now. That is just my experience, everyone's body behaves differently.

Honestly, your skin health is heavily linked to your immune system and gut. If you exercise regularly, eat clean, and stay hydrated, you can keep flare-ups minimal no matter how old you get. Keep moving!

Our skin barriers change as we age, but with the right moisturization and tracking your environmental triggers, you can manage it easily. I use an app to track my hydration levels and it has helped my skin stay healthy.

There is a lot of misinformation online about skin aging and eczema. The truth is only a dermatologist can assess your specific skin condition and predict how it might behave over time. Don't rely on random predictions.

As we age, our skin naturally becomes drier, which can make eczema feel worse if we aren't careful. Since I manage my diabetes, I have to be very strict with my diet and skin moisture. Keeping your health parameters in check is key.

Nah bro, it's actually the opposite for many people. Most kids who have severe eczema see it fade away as they grow into adults. Mine is way better now than it was when I was ten.
