Does eating cancerous meat cause cancer?

Sometimes I worry about the quality of meat available in the market. If an animal had some disease, say cancer, can eating its meat transmit that to humans and cause cancer?

I used to ignore where my meat was sourced from, which led to terrible stomach infections. If you are worried about the quality of food you ate, please get yourself checked by a doctor immediately.

Our bodies usually digest and break down proteins, so eating sick meat might cause food poisoning rather than direct cancer. However, always source fresh and hygienic meat to keep your family safe.

My grandmother always told us to boil meat thoroughly with turmeric to kill any disease. But for serious doubts about food safety and health, it is always best to consult a qualified doctor.

I cannot give any medical advice on this, but in my house, we only buy meat from trusted, certified local butchers. It just gives peace of mind about what we are consuming.
