Does drinking cherry juice help you sleep?

Having trouble falling asleep lately, I don't want to rely on medication. I read online that cherry juice might help improve sleep quality. Is this a proven remedy, or just a myth?

Actually, yaar, tart cherry juice has natural melatonin which does help you sleep a bit better. But it is very hard to find pure, sugar-free cherry juice in India, and the packed ones are just full of sugar which will ruin your sleep instead. Better to try chamomile tea.

Drinking warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg is an excellent home remedy for sleep, but tart cherry juice is also known to help naturally. However, if your insomnia has been going on for weeks, please don't just rely on juices and see a doctor to rule out stress or deficiencies.

Yes, tart cherry juice works because it contains melatonin, but make sure to drink it an hour before bed without added sugar.

I love trying new beverages, and sour tart cherry juice is actually quite refreshing! It has a decent amount of tryptophan which helps sleep, but it can be quite sour, so don't drink too much or you'll get midnight acidity.

With the amount of stress at work, I doubt a glass of cherry juice can knock me out, but it's worth a shot. It is certainly healthier than scrolling on the phone till 2 AM. Just make sure you don't buy the sugary cherry syrup by mistake.

Clinical studies suggest that tart cherry juice can increase sleep time and efficiency due to its melatonin and proanthocyanidin content. However, chronic insomnia can stem from clinical depression, sleep apnea, or hormonal imbalances. If the issue persists, consulting a sleep specialist or doctor is highly advised.

I was just reading about this on a health blog yesterday! Apparently, tart cherries have compounds that regulate sleep cycles. I am thinking of ordering some online to see if it actually works for my late-night restlessness.

I tried drinking all kinds of juices and teas for my severe sleeplessness, ignoring that it was actually high blood pressure causing the restlessness. I regretted not checking earlier. Please get a proper health checkup done if you have chronic sleep issues.
