Does drinking affect your liver or kidneys?

My father has some kidney issues, and he always tells me to be careful with alcohol. I sometimes feel a little uneasy after parties, so I'm wondering if drinking regularly can impact both my liver and kidneys.

As someone managing high blood pressure, I had to learn this the hard way. Alcohol raises your BP, which directly strains your kidneys and liver over time. Please get a regular kidney function test and liver profile done, and discuss your lifestyle habits with your doctor.

Bhai, alcohol affects both of them very badly. Liver has to work hard to clear the drink, and kidneys get dehydrated trying to filter things out. Please take care of your body, eat simple ghar ka khana, and stay away from these drinks as much as you can.

Don't stress too much right now, but yes, alcohol puts a lot of load on both the liver and kidneys. Your body is highly resilient if you take action early. Just pause the drinking for a bit, drink plenty of water, and book an appointment with a doctor to get a routine checkup done.

People online will tell you to drink barley water or some herbal juices to 'detox' your liver and kidneys, but that's mostly useless advice. Only a medical doctor can tell you if alcohol has caused any actual damage through proper blood and urine tests. Go see a professional.

It can seriously harm both organs, and sometimes there are zero early symptoms. Please don't wait for pain or discomfort to start. Go to a diagnostic lab, get an ultrasound and blood panel done, and show the results to a proper physician.

I can barely keep my eyes open right now, but I can tell you that my liver and kidneys probably cry every time I have a weekend beer. They both work overtime when you drink, leaving you dehydrated and exhausted the next morning. Best to give them a break!

Honestly, yes. I used to party hard every weekend and started getting dull side pains. When I cut down on alcohol and started drinking 3-4 liters of water daily, the pain vanished. Alcohol dehydrates your kidneys like crazy, so watch out.
