Does diabetic retinopathy go away?

I recently found out I have diabetic retinopathy, and I'm really worried about my eyesight. The doctor said we need to manage my blood sugar strictly. Can this condition actually go away with proper care, or will my vision keep deteriorating?

Please do not take this lightly. Retinopathy doesn't just go away on its own and can lead to permanent vision loss if ignored. You must visit an ophthalmologist immediately for a proper dilated eye exam.

I have realized that diabetic complications are very delicate. Retinopathy usually requires medical intervention to stop it from progressing, even if your sugars are back to normal. Please consult an eye specialist soon.

With endocrine issues, regular checkups are a must. My doctor told me that eye changes in diabetes need constant monitoring and cannot be cured by lifestyle alone. Make sure you get an annual retina scan done.

Haan bhai, eye matters me risk nahi lene ka. It doesn't go away by itself, proper treatment hi karwana padega. Doctor se milo aur laser ya injections jo bhi bole wo time pe karwa lo, na?

My son had some early changes detected in his eyes, and the doctor told us that while we can't completely erase it, we can stop it from getting worse by keeping strict control on his diet and insulin. Do consult a pediatric eye specialist.

Haan na, eye problems are very scary. It doesn't just clear up like a normal cold, you have to show it to an eye doctor. Please don't delay the treatment, eyes are very precious.

I completely understand the anxiety you must be feeling right now, I went through the same sleepless nights when I got my diagnosis. It won't disappear completely, but with proper laser or medical treatment, your vision can stay perfectly stable.
