Does diabetic neuropathy go away?

My mother was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy a few months ago, and she's very distressed by the constant pain. We are trying all treatments suggested by the doctor. I want to know if this condition can ever truly go away, or is it a lifelong issue?

It doesn't completely cure easily, but you can stop it from getting worse. Along with my BP meds, I made sure to walk daily and control my sugar, and the numbness in my toes has reduced quite a bit.

I read so many scary things online about nerve damage being permanent and got so terrified. But honestly, many people manage to live comfortably by controlling their diet. Don't let the anxiety get to you, just focus on your daily meds.

Hey, don't stress too much about it. While nerve damage takes a long time to heal, keeping your sugar strictly under control can make the pain almost disappear. Just focus on your health and take it easy.

It might not vanish completely, but you can definitely manage the pain and live happily! Keeping your blood glucose in check and doing light leg stretches really works wonders. Keep your spirits high! 🌟

I tried soaking my feet in warm water, massage with mustard oil, and whatnot. Some things gave temporary relief, but honestly, the only real solution is keeping your HbA1c below 7. That is what actually repairs the nerves.

According to my neurologist, fully established nerve damage is hard to reverse completely. However, he also mentioned that early-stage neuropathy can improve significantly once blood sugar levels are normalized and maintained. So early action is key.

Actually yaar, it is very difficult to make it go away 100%. But my dad's pain became very mild after he stopped cheating on his diet. You just have to be very strict with your sweet cravings.

My granddad had this terrible burning in his feet and we were all super worried. But once he started his daily morning walks and controlled his sweet intake, he felt a lot better. It doesn't totally go away but it becomes very minor.
