Does diabetes make you tired?

For months now, I've been feeling extremely tired and drained, no matter how much I sleep at night. My wife suggested I get my sugar checked as my father has diabetes. Can diabetes make you feel constantly tired?

My grandmother always recommended drinking curry leaves juice for energy, but I strongly believe in modern medicine. If your glucose isn't reaching your body cells, you will feel tired, so consulting a specialist is the right way.

Fatigue is a very common manifestation of diabetes due to insulin inefficiency. However, thyroid imbalance or vitamin deficiencies can also cause this, so getting a proper diagnosis from a doctor is essential.

Oh, absolutely! I used to think I was just extremely lazy, but turns out my high sugar levels were the real culprit. Don't blame yourself for those long afternoon naps just yet!

I go to a reputed hospital in my city, and my doctor explained that fluctuating sugar levels directly affect energy. Ask your physician to review your medication dose if you feel constantly drained.

Yes, it does. Regular physical activity like strength training and a low-carb diet can really help increase insulin sensitivity, which naturally boosts your daily energy levels.
