Does diabetes make you thirsty?

I feel thirsty all the time, even if I drink a lot of water throughout the day. It's a very new symptom for me, and I'm worried it could be diabetes. Does diabetes cause excessive thirst?

Haan bilkul, gala ekdum sookh jata hai isme na. Jitna bhi paani peeyo lagta hai kam hai, baar-baar pyaas lagti hi rehti hai jab sugar badha hota hai.

Drinking coconut water or barley water can help ease the dry mouth feeling naturally. But if you are constantly thirsty despite drinking gallons of water, please visit a clinic to get your sugar tested.

It is honestly so exhausting to feel thirsty all the time. I used to cry because no matter how much water I drank, my throat felt like sandpaper before I got my diagnosis. You are not alone in this.

Yes, excessive thirst is one of the classic warning signs of high sugar! Just keep yourself hydrated with plain water and avoid sugary sodas which only make it worse.

Ho na, constant pyaas lagna toh sabse bada sign hai. Pata nahi chalta shuru mein par body excess sugar flush karne ke liye paani maangti hai.

I've been feeling extremely thirsty lately, even waking up twice at night just to drink water. Is this how it started for everyone else here too? I'm getting a bit worried now.
