Does diabetes cause drowsiness?

After I eat, especially lunch, I feel incredibly sleepy and unable to focus. I'm diabetic. Is it common for diabetes to cause drowsiness?

Haan bilkul, mere saath exact yahi ho raha tha fast-food khane ke baad. Extreme drowsiness hoti thi aur lagta tha bas so jaoon. Jab test karwaya toh sugar levels high nikle. Diet control ki aur walk shuru ki tab jaake energy levels vapas normal huye hain.

Please isse light-weight mat lijiye. My husband used to feel sleepy all the time and we ignored it thinking he was just tired from office. Later his levels were dangerously high and it affected his kidneys. Apne doctor se milo aur blood sugar check karvao as soon as possible.

Honestly, even I feel super sleepy during morning lectures when my sugar spikes or drops. My dad has diabetes and he says drowsiness is like a classic symptom when levels are fluctuating. Testing kit use kar ke check kar lo ek baar ghar pe.

I can understand how frustrating this lazy feeling is. High blood sugar doesn't let cells get proper energy, that's why we feel so drained. Try drinking warm water with a bit of methi powder in the morning, and please cut down on heavy rice at night. It actually helps in keeping energy stable.

Don't stress too much, buddy! It is very common to feel drowsy when sugar levels are acting up. Just check in with a doctor and get your HbA1c test done. Once the doctor adjusts the medicine, you will be back to your active self in no time.
