Does dayquil reduce fever?

My kids have a bit of a flu, and I have DayQuil in the medicine cabinet that I use for myself. I know it helps with congestion and cough, but I need to know if it's also effective for fever in children. Will DayQuil help reduce their fever?

Actually it does reduce fever pretty well yaar, because of the paracetamol in it. But don't take it continuously for days on end without asking a doctor.

Yes, it helps bring down the temperature and relieves body ache. I hope you get some good rest and feel better very soon.

Yes, it will reduce the fever. But don't just rely on pills; drink plenty of warm water, eat some warm home-cooked food, and give your body proper time to heal.

It definitely does! It will kick that fever out so you don't feel like a melted candle anymore. Just take it and stay away from cold water and ice creams for a bit!

Yes, it works, but honestly, I just use it so I can stop shivering and finally get some sleep. Having a fever and dealing with insomnia at the same time is the absolute worst combination.
