Does dayquil help with fever?

I've been down with a bad cold for a few days and have a high fever, feeling really unwell. I have some DayQuil at home, but I'm not sure if it specifically targets fever or just other cold symptoms. Does DayQuil help bring down a fever effectively?

Actually, DayQuil has paracetamol in it, which is the main thing that brings down fever yaar. It also helps with body ache and stuff. Just check the dose properly and don't mix it with other cold meds.

It does help temporarily with mild fever so you can get through your workday, but remember it only masks the symptoms. If your fever stays high for more than two days, please see a doctor instead of just popping pills to survive your office calls.

Yes, it is quite effective for temporary relief from seasonal flu and fever. Just make sure you take plenty of rest and drink warm water throughout the day. Medication works best when the body gets proper rest.

I had a terrible viral fever last week and used it. It definitely brought my temperature down and cleared my blocked nose for a few hours. Just make sure to stay hydrated because it can make your throat feel a bit dry.

Haan na, it really helps with the fever and that heavy feeling in the head. But don't take it on an empty stomach, or it might cause acidity. Have some light khichdi first.

While the medicine will temporarily lower your body temperature, please allow your body to rest naturally too. Deep, slow breathing and drinking warm herbal infusions help the system recover its strength much faster.
