Does dandelion root kill cancer cells?

I recently heard a discussion where someone claimed that dandelion root has properties that can kill cancer cells. My elderly parents are very concerned about cancer, and I want to give them accurate information. Is this a proven fact or just a rumor people are spreading?

My family member went through cancer treatment, and we researched this. Laboratory cell tests in petri dishes are very different from treating a living human. Stick strictly to chemotherapy or whatever therapy your oncologist advises.

Instead of seeking unverified remedies, focusing on basic physical strength is better. If the doctor permits, light walking and a clean diet can help build immunity during tough treatments. Do not self-prescribe herbal roots.

I totally get it, when a loved one is fighting a scary disease, we desperately look for any ray of hope or natural remedy. But please be careful and trust only professional medical experts for cancer care, not internet posts.

These alternative therapies can be quite dangerous. For my blood pressure, regular checkups and prescribed meds keep me safe, not unverified roots. Cancer needs immediate attention from a cancer specialist at a hospital.

I get so anxious reading these articles online claiming dandelion kills cancer. It makes me wonder if I am missing out on natural cures, or are they just scams? Has anyone else felt totally confused by these health blogs?

When my child was very sick, I also searched day and night for natural solutions. But we must be practical. Herbs cannot replace proper hospital treatments. Please take them to a specialist doctor right away.
