Does cyclobenzaprine help with pain?

My doctor gave me a prescription for something called cyclobenzaprine for my chronic neck pain. I'm a bit hesitant to start new meds without knowing more. I wanted to know if others have found it truly helpful for pain relief, especially for muscle spasms.

It is a strong muscle relaxant, so it does help with stiffness and spasms. However, don't rely only on pills; applying a warm sesame oil compress or a hot water bag to the sore area also gives great relief. Take rest and let the muscles heal naturally.

Yes, it works well for muscle spasms and back pain. My doctor prescribed it to me last year, and it helped me get back to work in a couple of days. Just don't drive or do any heavy machine work after taking it because it causes serious drowsiness.

It helps block the pain sensation, but you should also try gentle stretching and drinking warm haldi milk to reduce internal inflammation. If your pain is radiating down your leg or is extremely severe, please go see a doctor immediately instead of just taking painkillers.

It works on muscle-related pain by relaxing the nerve signals, which I tracked and noticed helped my sleep score improve when I was injured. Make sure to log your dosage properly and don't mix it with alcohol or other sedatives.
