Does cvs give tb shots?

My friend's daughter is moving to the US for her higher studies and has some queries about vaccinations. She specifically asked if general pharmacies provide them. Does CVS give TB shots, or is it more of a clinic service there?

Yeah, CVS MinuteClinic does the TB skin shot thing. Had to get it done for my hostel admission, it was super quick and didn't hurt much tbh.

CVS does offer TB testing injections, but please consult your primary physician first. Don't rely on retail clinic staff if you have complex medical symptoms.

Yes, CVS handles TB skin tests. You just walk into any MinuteClinic, get the injection, and make sure to return within 72 hours for the reading.

I was looking into this too, and yes, they do the PPD skin test injection. You can check availability online on their website before heading out.

Yes, CVS is a practical option for this. It is much cheaper and faster than booking a full hospital appointment just for a simple TB test.

I was incredibly anxious about getting my TB shot done for work, but CVS made it very easy. The nurse was very understanding and calmed me down.
