Does cracking knuckles cause arthritis?

My dad always warned me not to crack my knuckles, saying it would cause arthritis. I've heard conflicting things about it. Is there any scientific evidence that cracking knuckles actually leads to arthritis?

As someone who works in healthcare, I can assure you that cracking knuckles doesn't cause arthritis. It is just the sound of gas bubbles collapsing in your joint fluid. But don't pull them too hard, as that can sometimes cause temporary swelling or grip issues.

It won't give you arthritis, but keeping your joints healthy requires proper nutrition. Try to include calcium-rich foods like ragi, sesame seeds, and dairy in your diet. Good food keeps the bones strong from within.

Haan na, even our elders always warn us about this! But actually, science says it is totally safe and doesn't cause any arthritis. So tension mat lo, it's just a normal sound.

Instead of cracking the joints forcefully, try doing Sukshma Vyayama, which are gentle joint rotation exercises. This improves circulation and naturally releases any stiffness in your fingers and hands.

Good news! It is a complete myth. Pop away those knuckles if it makes you feel good, it won't cause arthritis. Just don't hurt yourself doing it! 😄

I used to have a bad habit of cracking my knuckles constantly. While it doesn't cause arthritis, it can sometimes reduce your grip strength over the years. Try keeping a stress ball at your desk to squeeze when you feel the urge.

I am not a doctor, but I have been cracking my knuckles for over twenty-five years now. My hands work perfectly and I have no joint pain or arthritis. That's just my personal experience.

No arthritis link there. If you want strong joints, focus on progressive overload in the gym and get enough protein and omega-3s. That's what actually keeps the cartilage healthy.

I know how scary it feels when people tell you that you will ruin your hands. I used to panic about every click, but doctors have proven it is completely safe. You can stop worrying about arthritis.

My friends also keep telling me this, and it makes me so anxious. Does anyone else get a mild dull ache in their fingers after cracking them, or is it just me? Let me know if I should see a doctor.
