Does covid vaccine causes heart attack?

My father is due for his booster shot, but he's seen a lot of news about the COVID vaccine causing heart attacks, which is making him hesitant. We're concerned about his health. Is there a real link between the vaccine and heart attacks?

Hey! Don't worry at all, millions of us have taken both doses and the boosters too and we are absolutely fine! 😊 Sometimes social media forwards make us panic unnecessarily. Just focus on a healthy diet and daily walks to keep your heart happy!

Honestly, I totally get why you are asking this because even I used to lose sleep over every little chest pain after my vaccine. The anxiety is so real, but after talking to multiple doctors, they assured me there is no direct link like that. If you feel any genuine chest tightness or breathing trouble though, don't ignore it and get a quick ECG done just for peace of mind.

Beta, at my age of 66, I have seen many medical scares come and go. My whole family of senior citizens got the vaccines and we have had absolutely no cardiac issues. Trust the science and the doctors rather than WhatsApp rumors.

I went down this rabbit hole last year and ended up getting a full cardiac screening done because of my fear. My cardiologist showed me the data and explained that actual Covid infection is way more risky for the heart than the vaccine. Get a routine lipid profile and ECG done annually to be sure, it really helps calm the mind.

I understand your fear brother, with so much news around it is natural to feel scared. But instead of stressing, focus on keeping your blood pressure and cholesterol in check with warm ginger water in the morning and reducing oily foods. Stress itself is worse for the heart than any vaccine, so keep calm.
