Does covid come with a fever?

My friend has a bad cold, but no fever, and he's not sure if it's COVID. Most people I know who had COVID had a fever. Does COVID always present with a fever, or can you have it without one?

Fever is very common with covid, but it's not present in every single case. When I was infected, I had no temperature but had massive body aches that kept me from my daily runs. If you don't have a fever, still take it easy and avoid any heavy workouts until you get checked.

Yes, it usually starts with a mild fever, but I have seen people with covid who only had a sore throat or diarrhea. If you do get a fever, keep tracking it with a digital thermometer every four hours and note it down. It really helps when you consult your doctor.

Please don't wait for a fever to show up to take this seriously. I ignored a minor dry cough for four days because my temperature was completely normal, and it turned into severe lung congestion. Go get a proper doctor's advice the moment you feel slightly off.

Dekho, har kisi ko fever nahi aata hai, toh is bharose mat baitho. Agar halka sa bhi galam kharab hai ya thakan lag rahi hai, toh test karwa lo. Faltu me dosto se milke bimari mat phelao, safety pehle rakho.

It can go either way, which is why it is so tricky. To be absolutely safe, I always suggest getting a rapid antigen test done at home if you show even mild signs. It is better to know for sure and consult a medical professional early.

My body thermometer was totally normal when I had covid, but my bones felt like they were ninety years old! So no, it doesn't always come with a fever, sometimes it just brings pure, unadulterated exhaustion. Just sleep it off if you can.

Fever is just the body's agni fighting the foreign element, but sometimes the virus is silent and doesn't cause a rise in temperature. If you feel weak, focus on deep, slow breathing and let your system rest. Do not strain yourself with any heavy physical postures.

Haan yaar, fever toh kaafi logon ko hota hai isme, par yeh zaroori nahi hai na. Kuch logon ko sirf body pain aur thakan hoti hai bina kisi temperature ke. Isliye thoda dhyan rakho aur halki garam cheezein peete raho.

Hey, it definitely can, but sometimes it doesn't! Many of my friends just had a stuffy nose and no fever at all. So don't stress too much, just isolate yourself for a couple of days and drink lots of warm fluids, you'll be fine.

For many, covid starts with a low-grade fever which can be managed with a damp cloth on the forehead and warm herbal tulsi tea. However, if the fever goes very high or you feel any breathlessness, please do not rely on home remedies and visit a doctor immediately.
