Does covid cause cancer?

My friend recently shared a WhatsApp forward claiming that COVID can cause cancer. I found it hard to believe, but it made me anxious. Is there any truth to this claim, or is it just another rumour?

Please do not let such scary thoughts disturb your mental peace. There is no spiritual or medical basis to believe this virus directly causes such diseases. Keep your mind calm, live a pure life, and take care of your health with positivity.

This is a prime example of internet rumors creating unnecessary panic among people. There is absolutely no scientific evidence showing that covid causes cancer. Always verify such serious health claims with an oncologist or a trusted medical source before believing them.

I once ignored minor physical changes thinking they were nothing, which was a huge mistake. While covid doesn't cause cancer, ignoring other persistent symptoms because of covid fear is risky. If you have any unusual lumps or persistent pain, please go get a proper checkup immediately.

Beta, please don't worry about such extreme things. Covid is just a viral fever that leaves the body weak, it does not lead to cancer. Just focus on drinking warm giloy water or tulsi tea to rebuild your strength and immunity post-recovery.

I had severe lung complications after my covid infection, but my doctors assured me it was just tissue scarring, not cancer. If you are experiencing prolonged symptoms like a chronic cough, please get a chest CT scan done under a doctor's guidance rather than worrying about worst-case scenarios.

Honestly, I also saw some scary articles online linking the virus to cellular changes and got super worried about this. Has anyone else felt this kind of health anxiety after recovering? It is so easy to overthink every little ache these days.

I agree with others here; there is no link between the two. Don't let online rumors stress you out, just consult a doctor if you feel unwell.

Hey there! Don't stress, covid is a respiratory virus and does not alter your DNA to cause cancer. We see thousands of post-covid patients in the clinic and none of the data suggests any such link. Just focus on a healthy lifestyle and routine checkups!
