Does conditioner get rid of dandruff?

My scalp has been really itchy and flaky lately, and I suspect it's dandruff. I'm curious if simply using a good conditioner can help get rid of it.

No, regular conditioner doesn't get rid of dandruff. You need an active anti-dandruff shampoo for that.

Hey, don't stress too much about dandruff! Regular conditioner actually won't cure it because dandruff is usually caused by a fungus or excess oil on the scalp. Try using a ketoconazole shampoo instead, and use conditioner only on your hair tips.

Beta, conditioner lagane se rusi nahi jati hai. Rusi ke liye aap neem ke paani se baal dho liya karo ya daktar se koi achha sabun ya shampoo pooch lo. Apna dhyan rakhiyega.

Conditioner won't clear dandruff. Dandruff is often linked to scalp sweat and yeast build-up, especially after workouts. Focus on a clean diet with less sugar, wash your scalp immediately after exercising, and use an anti-fungal shampoo.

Don't believe people who say conditioning your scalp will solve dandruff. It can actually make your scalp oilier and worsen the flaking. Better to verify with a dermatologist to get a proper medicated shampoo.
