Does colon cancer have a high survival rate?

A close family friend was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. We are all very worried for them. Does colon cancer have a high survival rate if detected early?

Look, if it is caught early in stage 1 or 2, the survival rate is actually very high, above 90%. But if you delay tests and let it spread, then it gets very difficult. So don't sit on it.

Yeah, my bio professor was telling us that early detection makes it super treatable. It's not like the old days, treatments have gotten way better now.

My uncle beat colon cancer five years ago and now he's back to enjoying his fish curry daily! Early diagnosis is the key, the survival rate is pretty great if caught on time.

Yes, if you catch it early, you have a great chance of beating it. Just don't ignore what your tummy is telling you, otherwise the treatment gets more tiring than the disease!
