Does collagen help with joint pain?

My knees and shoulders have started aching quite a bit, especially after exercise. A friend suggested I take collagen supplements for it. Does collagen help with joint pain?

I usually prefer warm turmeric milk or methi seeds for joint pain, but some people say collagen works too. However, if your pain is very severe or you cannot walk properly, please visit an orthopedic doctor immediately.

I started getting slight knee creaks after eating my way through all the street food stalls in the city! Tried collagen for a month, and it did feel like it greased the wheels a little bit. It's not magic, but not bad either.

With my PCOS, I am always very careful about what supplements I put in my body. Collagen helped my knee clicking a little bit, but everyone's hormonal profile and absorption are different, so please research well before buying.

My doctor approved collagen for my knee stiffness, but I had to make sure it was completely sugar-free. Diabetes can affect joint health too, so don't just rely on supplements; keep your sugar in check.

Honestly, don't believe all these heavy marketing claims online. Half of these collagen brands are just overpriced gelatin. Go to a proper doctor and get an X-ray done to find the actual reason for your pain.

It can definitely help with mild stiffness and lubrication. Just give it a try for two months and see if it makes a difference for you.

Many people in our community have asked this. Yes, it does support joint health, but remember it takes at least 8 to 12 weeks to show any real change. Pair it with mild exercises for the best results.

I can't say if it works for everyone, but in my case, after running, my shin and knee pain got much better after I started using marine collagen. That's just my personal experience.

I have high BP and keep my health monitored. Collagen helped my ankle pain, but losing a bit of weight and daily light stretching did way more. Always get your pressure checked regularly too.

I agree with others, it really helped my mother's knee stiffness when taken with warm water daily.

These collagen powders can be very expensive for monthly budget. If you want a cheaper option, simple bone broth or even standard gelatin from the grocery shop works similarly. Don't waste too much money on fancy packaging.

Mere ghutno me bahut dard rehta tha. Collagen lene se thoda aaram mila hai humko, par sath me hum haldi wala doodh bhi peete hain ghar pe.
