Does collagen help eczema?

I've been suffering from eczema for years and it's quite bothersome. I saw an ad for collagen supplements claiming they help with skin conditions. Does collagen help eczema?

It can help hydrate your skin from inside, but it might not cure eczema completely. Please be gentle with your skin and try it out slowly to see if it suits you.

I focus more on spicy street food, but when my skin gets super dry, I tried collagen coffee. Honestly, it didn't do much for my itchy patches. Good old coconut oil and eating less junk food helped me more.

My son has suffered from bad eczema flares since he was five. We tried many things, but collagen supplements didn't make any difference for his skin. A good thick moisturizer prescribed by our pediatrician and keeping him hydrated is what actually keeps it under control.

It did make my skin barrier feel a bit stronger and less flaky! 😊 Just make sure to drink lots of water along with it to see the best results!

When my thyroid levels go crazy, my skin gets horribly dry and itchy like eczema. Instead of trying random supplements, I always get my blood tests done and show the dermatologist. It is much safer than guessing.
