Does coffee helps with migraine?

Migraines are a real struggle for me, and I'm always looking for ways to get relief. I've noticed sometimes a strong black coffee helps a little. Does coffee actually help with migraine pain?

Dekho bhai, seedhi baat hai. Agar migraine shuru ho raha hai toh ek cup kadak coffee se aaram mil sakta hai kyunki caffeine naso ko shrink karta hai. Par iski aadat mat dalo, nahi toh bina coffee ke headache shuru ho jayega.

It is a double-edged sword. While caffeine can abort a mild migraine attack, daily overuse leads to medication overuse headaches, which are even worse. Keep your intake minimal and track your triggers properly.

For me, a hot strong cup of espresso with a small piece of dark chocolate works like magic when my head starts throbbing. It is the perfect excuse for a coffee break, though too much sugar or milk makes me feel bloated instead of relieved!

Don't blindly trust everyone saying coffee is a cure for migraine on the internet. Everyone's body reacts differently and caffeine withdrawal can actually trigger severe attacks. Go see a proper neurologist to get a safe, tailored treatment plan.

In our days, we used to apply a paste of ginger on the forehead and drink warm water for headaches. Coffee might give temporary relief because of caffeine, but it can also cause acidity. Drink plenty of water and take proper rest.

I have dealt with chronic migraine for ten years. A cup of black coffee works only if you catch the migraine in the first 15 minutes of the aura. If the pain has already peaked, coffee will just give you acidity. Learn your early warning signs.

During my treatment at Apollo, my doctor explained that caffeine can assist pain relievers to work faster, but also warned me against daily dependency. You should clearly ask your doctor how many cups are safe for your specific condition.

I've been looking up migraine remedies online and keep seeing conflicting opinions on coffee. Some articles say it helps, others say it causes it. It seems like keeping a headache diary to track if coffee helps or hurts is the most practical way to find out.
