Does coffee cause eczema flare ups?

I've been dealing with eczema for years, and sometimes it just flares up unexpectedly. Someone in my support group mentioned that coffee might be a trigger. Could my daily chai latte habit be making my eczema worse?

If you feel coffee is causing itching, try applying fresh aloe vera gel or cold-pressed coconut oil on the dry skin for relief. Sometimes the heat from hot drinks triggers eczema too. If the patches start oozing or bleeding, please visit a skin doctor immediately.

Eczema triggers are highly personal, and for some people, caffeine or the dairy in coffee can cause a flare-up. You should definitely consult a dermatologist to get a proper allergy patch test done. Don't just rely on cutting foods randomly without expert advice.

I have struggled with severe eczema for years and noticed that coffee dehydration makes my skin super dry and itchy. Now, I strictly limit myself to one cup of black coffee a day and drink double the amount of water to balance it out. It really helps keep the skin moist.

Arey baba, hamare yahan toh log kehte hain garam cheezein khane-peene se khujli badhti hai. Aap thode din coffee chhod kar thanda dhoodh ya nimbu paani peekar dekhiye. Sharir ki garmi thodi shant hogi toh khud hi aaram mil jayega.

Listen, don't stress too much about your coffee habit. Sometimes it is just high stress levels causing the eczema flare-up, not the coffee itself! Try switching to almond milk or just reduce your cups for a week and see how your skin reacts.
