Does cod liver oil have iron?

My latest blood test showed I'm a bit anemic, and I need to increase my iron intake. I was wondering if cod liver oil is a good source of iron, or if I should focus on other supplements.

No, cod liver oil is primarily taken for vitamins A, D, and omega-3, not iron. People on the internet suggest anything for anemia, which is risky. Get a proper CBC test done and let a doctor prescribe an actual iron supplement if you are deficient.

Haan, isme iron nahi hota hai actually. This is mostly for vitamins A and D, na. If you are feeling weak or have low hemoglobin, then beetroot or spinach khao, or best hai doc se consult kar lo simple.

I also looked for iron in cod liver oil once when my daughter was feeling very tired. But I found out it doesn't have iron. We started pomegranate juice and dates at home, which helped her a lot, but we also took proper advice from our family doctor.

Don't worry, but cod liver oil won't help with iron deficiency. It is highly beneficial for bones and eyes, but for low iron, you need different supplements or diet changes. Take care of yourself and don't stress, just consult a good doctor.

My elders used to suggest eating small fishes for overall strength and blood. But for iron specifically, cod liver oil is not the right choice. My physician advised me that it only contains healthy fats and vitamins, so please consult your doctor first.

In my personal experience, when I had low iron, my doctor did not give me cod liver oil. He prescribed iron tablets specifically. I only take cod liver oil for joint health and skin, as it contains omega-3 fatty acids.
