Does cocaine help with pain?

I've heard some old stories about cocaine being used for pain relief in the past. Is there any truth to this, like does it actually help with pain, or is that just a myth?

Using dangerous things to hide pain is a huge mistake; I ignored my chronic symptoms for a year and ended up in the ICU. It might temporarily numb you, but it will ruin your life. Go to a hospital and get a proper diagnosis for whatever is hurting you.

Pain is the body's way of telling us something is wrong, and blocking it with heavy chemicals is not the answer. Gentle stretching and deep breathing can help ease minor aches naturally. For severe pain, please consult a medical doctor rather than trying harmful substances.

My father always says that using illegal things to treat the body only leads to destruction. It might have some historical use as an anesthetic, but using it for pain today is highly dangerous. Please see a proper medical specialist who can give safe, legal medication.

For small pains, I always use ginger tea or warm compresses at home, but using a heavy drug is extremely risky. If your pain is that severe, please do not self-medicate or try dangerous shortcuts. Go to a clinic and get checked immediately.

True healing comes from within and with the right, positive guidance. Resorting to toxic habits will only damage your spirit and physical frame. Keep your faith strong and consult a doctor to heal your body safely.

Haan bhai, temporarily numb kar dega but uske baad jo addiction aur damage hoga, usse nikalna mushkil ho jayega na. Pain ke liye seedha doctor ke paas jao, safe medicines lo aur ye sab chemicals se door raho.
