Does cmv cause hepatitis?

My friend was recently diagnosed with CMV, and he mentioned something about his liver being affected. I'm trying to understand if Cytomegalovirus can actually cause hepatitis.

I recently tested positive for Cytomegalovirus and my liver enzymes are slightly elevated. I am so scared that this might turn into severe hepatitis. Has anyone else gone through CMV-induced liver issues, and how long did it take to clear up?

Viral infections like CMV can put stress on the liver, sometimes leading to inflammation or hepatitis. Along with your medical treatment, gentle yoga practices and eating easily digestible, light food can help the body heal naturally. Keep your mind peaceful.

Yes, CMV can cause mild hepatitis in some cases as it affects internal organs. Keeping your immune system strong through regular physical exercise and a clean, nutrient-rich diet is very important to help your body fight off viral infections.

Well, CMV is like that uninvited guest who enters the party and sometimes decides to mess up the liver kitchen. It can cause mild hepatitis, but usually, your body's security guards (your immune system) kick it out eventually. Just listen to your doctor and stay hydrated!

Yes, CMV is a known cause of viral hepatitis, especially in people with weaker immune systems. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice and get plenty of rest. You will get through this.

Yes, CMV is capable of causing liver inflammation, which is basically hepatitis. Because my body is already sensitive due to metabolic issues, I always advise people to monitor their liver enzymes through blood tests if they test positive for CMV. Take care and consult a specialist.
