Does chewing gum give you cavities?

I love chewing gum to freshen my breath, but my sister keeps telling me it's bad for my teeth. Does chewing gum actually give you cavities, even if it's sugar-free?

I know how stressful it is to worry about your dental health, I used to feel so guilty every time I chewed gum. Regular sugared gum can definitely cause cavities, and that fear is real. Try switching to sugar-free to help ease your mind.

Look, if you keep chewing those sweet, sugary gums all day, of course your teeth will rot. It is simple logic. Switch to sugar-free chewing gum or just stop the habit if you can't find sugar-free ones.

My dentist practically bought his new car thanks to my sweet-gum chewing habit in my 30s. Yes, the sugar ones will give you cavities and some painful dental bills. Stick to the sugar-free mint ones to save your teeth and your wallet.

Haan beta, meethi cheezein daant kharab karti hain, aur gum toh daant me chipki rehti hai. Isse keede lag jaate hain. Tum dahi se kulla kiya karo ya neem ki datun use kiya karo, daant majboot rahenge.

Sugary gums are bad for the enamel, so I prefer chewing a piece of clove or fennel seeds to keep my breath fresh naturally. However, if you already have tooth pain or sensitivity, home tips won't fix it. Please see a dentist soon.

I chew gum at 2 AM just to stay awake for my night shifts, and my dentist was not happy with the sugar levels in them. Yes, they do cause cavities if you aren't careful. Now I just drink black coffee and pray my teeth survive.

Yes, sugared gum is a leading cause of tooth decay. If you are experiencing any pain or notice dark spots on your teeth, please get a dental checkup immediately. Catching cavities early saves you from painful root canals later.
