Does chamomile help you sleep?

I have been struggling with sleep lately, constantly feeling restless. My friend suggested trying chamomile tea before bed. Does it really help you sleep better or is it just a myth?

Our bodies have a beautiful natural rhythm and sometimes we just need a gentle nudge to realign. Chamomile is like a warm hug for your soul before sleep. Just keep a positive mind, sit quietly with a warm cup, and let your body heal itself. Take care of yourself.

I completely understand how frustrating it is when you just cannot sleep at night, it used to give me so much anxiety. Honestly, drinking warm chamomile tea about an hour before bed really helped calm my racing mind. It is not like a magic sleeping pill, but it definitely creates a very soothing routine that relaxes your nerves.

I actually asked my general physician about this during my last health checkup. He explained that chamomile contains an antioxidant called apigenin, which binds to certain receptors in your brain that decrease anxiety and initiate sleepiness. He advised me to have it consistently for a few weeks to actually notice the difference.

I have been reading so many articles online about sleep hygiene lately and chamomile tea keeps popping up everywhere. I am really tempted to order a pack online and try it tonight. Hopefully, it is as good as everyone says because my sleep schedule is completely ruined right now.

As someone who tracks everything I consume, I looked into chamomile too. It is a great herbal option since it is caffeine-free and fits well into a clean, plant-based lifestyle. Just make sure you do not buy brands with added artificial flavors or sugar, keep it pure and organic for the best results.
