Does cancer love sugar?

I've heard so many times that cancer absolutely loves sugar and grows faster with it. People are always telling me to cut down on sweets for this reason. Is there scientific proof behind the idea that cancer cells 'love' sugar and thrive on it?

While all cells in the body use glucose, eating too much white sugar is generally not good for our health. I always suggest using natural sweeteners like a little jaggery or honey in moderation. However, if you are dealing with a serious medical condition, please follow your doctor's advice rather than relying on food changes alone.

Haan na, everyone says sugar is the enemy, but actually our whole body needs glucose to function properly. Extreme dieting can make you super weak, especially during illnesses. Just cut down on cold drinks and bakery items, rest normal healthy food is fine.

Instead of completely stopping all carbohydrates in panic, a simple solution is to replace refined sugar with whole grains and fruits. It is practical, easy on the pocket, and keeps your blood sugar stable. Keep your lifestyle simple and balanced.

There is a lot of online hype about this, but don't waste money on expensive 'sugar-free' specialty diets without scientific backing. Focus on normal, balanced home-cooked food. If you are worried about cancer risk, invest that money in regular, affordable health screenings instead.

The body is a temple and what we put in should be pure and simple. While excess sugar can cause imbalances, do not let fear rule your eating habits. Keep a peaceful mind, eat fresh satvik food with gratitude, and take care of your spiritual and physical health.

During my recovery, my oncologist specifically told me that starving myself of carbohydrates would only weaken my immune system. The 'sugar feeds cancer' theory is highly misunderstood; just maintain a healthy body weight and eat balanced meals. Don't stress over eating a piece of fruit.
