Does caffeine affect sleep?

Since last few months, my sleep has been very disturbed. I usually have coffee in the evening, but my friend told me it might be impacting my sleep cycle. Is it true that caffeine affects how well we sleep?

Honestly it really does. I tried everything from warm haldi milk to chamomile tea but nothing worked until I stopped my 6 PM chai. Try keeping a strict cutoff of 2 PM for any coffee or tea and see the difference.

I can only speak for myself but if I have even a small filter coffee after 4 PM, I am wide awake till 2 AM. My body just takes a long time to process it. Now I strictly stick to morning brews only.

Bro, I am typing this at 3 AM precisely because of that evening cappuccino. You think it gives u focus but actually it just makes u stare at the ceiling for hours. Sleep is gone case today.

Yes it absolutely does! ☕️ I switched to caffeine-free herbal teas after lunch and my sleep quality improved so much. Give it a try, your body will thank you!

We often focus only on clean eating but liquid intake matters just as much. Caffeine can block sleep receptors even if we feel fine. Try keeping your diet clean and finish your last tea by afternoon.
