Does buspirone cause erectile dysfunction?

I've been thinking about trying Buspirone for my anxiety, but I'm also mindful of potential side effects, especially anything that could affect personal health. My friend mentioned some medications can cause issues for men. Can Buspirone cause erectile dysfunction?

Bhai, sleep deprivation itself has ruined my drive, so I couldn't even tell if the medicine did anything! But seriously, my doctor told me buspirone is known to have way fewer sexual side effects than other anxiety medicines. Don't stress too much about it.

I was on buspirone for six months and honestly was terrified of this side effect. But luckily, it didn't cause any ED issues for me, actually it was much better than other SSRIs I tried earlier. Just give it some time, your body adjusts.

I faced some mild issues initially when I started my dosage. The trick is to not panic because anxiety itself makes ED worse. I talked to my doctor and we split the dose into twice daily, which solved the problem completely.

It is generally considered quite safe in this department compared to other psychiatric drugs. However, if you are noticing any changes after starting it, don't waste time researching online. Just book a quick 10-minute consult with your psychiatrist.

Medically speaking, buspirone actually has a very low incidence of causing erectile dysfunction, and sometimes it is even used to counteract the sexual side effects of other antidepressants. But everyone's biochemistry is different, so please consult your doctor.

At 51, half my health issues are just aging, so I don't blame the poor medicine for everything! When I took buspirone, everything was perfectly fine in that department. Don't let these scary internet articles get in your head.

Listen, don't worry unnecessarily about this. Most people don't experience ED with this specific medicine at all. Just focus on recovering from your anxiety first, and if you feel anything is wrong, you can always tell your doctor openly.

I just started this tablet four days ago and I am constantly thinking about this. I feel a bit numb down there but I don't know if it is just my anxiety playing games with me. Did anyone else face this in the very first week?
