Does breast cancer run in families?

My mother's sister got breast cancer in her 40s, and now my mother is worried for me. Does breast cancer generally run in families, like is there a strong genetic link?

Yes, it can run in the family if there is a strong history, especially from the mother's side. While eating healthy, simple foods and lead-free turmeric keeps the body pure, you must not rely only on home care. If there is a history, the young girls in the family should get checked by a doctor regularly.

Just like high blood pressure, genetics play a big role in cancer risk too. If your mother or sister had it, your risk goes up. Along with maintaining a healthy weight and lifestyle, you must get regular medical checkups and mammograms done.

I know from managing my PCOS that family history can make you prone to certain hormonal issues, including breast cancer. It is not a guarantee that you will get it, but it means you have to be extra cautious. Try talking to a doctor about genetic counseling if you are worried.

Our family passed down bad eyesight, high sugar, and yes, a risk of breast cancer too! It definitely can run in families due to those BRCA genes. Best to get the screenings done early so you don't have to keep worrying about your genetics.

Don't believe people who say you can prevent genetic cancer by drinking special herbal juices. If you have multiple family members who had breast cancer, go see an oncologist and ask about genetic testing. That is the only scientific way to know your risk.

Haan, hamare yahan kehte hain ki agar maa ya mausi ko ho, toh beti ko dhyan rakhna chahiye. Yeh parivar mein aage badh sakta hai. Apne saare parivar ki bacchiyon ko ek baar doctor se zaroor dikha lein.

Living a natural life with good food is great, but genetic risks are real. If breast cancer runs in your family, home remedies won't stop it. You must visit a good hospital and get mammograms done as advised by doctors.

My grandmother had breast cancer, so my mom and I are always super alert about this. It definitely has a genetic link in about 5 to 10 percent of cases. We make sure to do our regular breast self-exams and get our checkups done on time.
