Does borax help arthritis?

My joints have been bothering me a lot lately due to arthritis. My neighbor swears by borax for relief, which sounds very unusual to me. Does borax actually help arthritis, or is it just a folk remedy?

For joint stiffness and arthritis, gentle joint rotations and pranayama like Nadi Shodhana work wonders. Borax is a chemical laundry cleaner and consuming it can be very dangerous for the body. Please stick to safe, natural healing methods.

Arey who told you this? Borax is used to clean toilets and make slime, please don't start eating it for joint pain! Keep it in the laundry room and use normal pain balm instead.

Beta, never consume these chemical powders. For joint pains, we have always used a paste of turmeric and ginger, or warm sesame oil massage. Keep your joints warm in winter and trust your doctor's medicine.

Actually, my aunt was planning to buy this after reading some online post. I am really worried now. Has anyone actually tried boron supplements safely instead of borax? Please let me know.

My grandmother has bad knee pain and we almost fell for a similar home remedy online. Thankfully we asked our doctor first who strongly warned us against it. Please play it safe and avoid borax.

Oh my, please stay away from borax! It's strictly for cleaning dirty tiles, not for your body. Stick to healthy hot soups and a nice warm bath to ease your joint pain.

I was researching boron deficiency and noticed people confuse it with commercial borax. Boron is a safe trace mineral in foods, but borax is a laundry chemical. Very important to understand the difference before trying anything.

Absolutely not. Consuming borax is highly toxic and can lead to poisoning. If you have severe arthritis, go see a rheumatologist and get proper medical treatment instead of trying internet hacks.

There is a dangerous internet myth about borax helping arthritis because it contains boron. Borax powder sold in shops is industrial grade and toxic to ingest. If you want boron, eat apples, raisins, and almonds instead.

This is actually crazy yaar! Borax is literally a cleaning agent. Please don't consume it under any circumstances, it is super toxic. Just take your prescribed calcium tablets and chill.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding extreme remedies for your pain. Borax is definitely a big NO. Let's stick to safe things like warm mustard oil massage and some mild stretches, okay?

I saw some videos about this too and got so scared thinking people are actually drinking borax. Please don't try this at home, it can cause severe kidney damage. Stick to what your doctor prescribes for arthritis.
