Does boba tea cause cancer?

All my friends are obsessed with boba tea, but my mom recently warned me about it, saying it might cause health issues. I'm curious to know, does boba tea actually cause cancer?

There is no scientific consensus or direct link showing that boba tea causes cancer. It is mostly tapioca starch, milk, and sugar. However, if you have chronic digestive issues or high sugar levels, it is always best to consult your doctor before making it a habit.

Boba tea costs like 300 rupees a cup and gives zero nutrition. Instead of spending on expensive drinks and then worrying about health tests and hospital bills, we should stick to simple ghar ki chai. Save that money for family health insurance instead.

I agree with others, it does not cause cancer. Just make sure the place you buy from uses fresh milk and hygienic ingredients.

Haan na, people exaggerate so much on social media nowadays. Boba is just normal sabudana type pearls only, why will it cause cancer? Chill karo, but daily mat peena because of the sugar.

I totally get it, health anxiety can make you question every single thing you eat. Please don't beat yourself up about enjoying a sweet treat. Boba won't give you cancer, so just relax and enjoy your drink.

Nah man, been drinking this almost every weekend with my friends and we are all perfectly fine. It's just a sweet drink. No need to stress about cancer over a boba tea.

People on the internet will claim even breathing causes cancer. Don't fall for these viral WhatsApp forwards about boba tea. If you ever have genuine health issues, check with a certified nutritionist or doctor, not random blogs.

Dude, if boba caused cancer, half my college hostel would be in trouble by now. It's just overpriced starch. Just don't skip your main meals for it and you're good.

Actually, I felt some stomach heaviness after having it and immediately googled if it was dangerous. Did anyone else get bad bloating or stomach ache after drinking heavy boba tea? I am a bit scared now.

Our Indian stomachs are not used to so much processed tapioca at once, which is why people get acidity. If you like the taste, just have it occasionally. A simple cup of warm water with ajwain after such drinks will keep your digestion perfectly fine.
