Does blood clot pain come and go?

I've been experiencing some strange leg pain that seems to come and go. My friend suggested it could be a blood clot, which has me quite concerned. Does pain from a blood clot usually fluctuate like that?

Typically, deep vein thrombosis pain is persistent and gets worse when walking, rather than coming and going. Do not waste time and get a Doppler ultrasound scan immediately.

I agree, true clot pain is usually constant and accompanied by swelling or redness. Please see a doctor right away to be safe.

Aap bilkul laaparwahi mat kijiye, agar pair mein dard aur sujan hai toh turant bade doctor ko dikhaiye. Yeh sab cheezon mein deeri nahi karte.

If it's just a muscle cramp from working out, it comes and goes. But if the calf is warm, swollen, and red, that's a red flag for a clot, so get it checked.

Blood clot pain rarely comes and goes; it usually worsens over time. If you also feel any sudden chest pain or shortness of breath, go to the emergency room immediately.

My aunt had a blood clot in her leg and the pain was constant, like a heavy throbbing ache that didn't go away even when she rested. Please don't ignore it.
