Does beer cause cavities?

Been having more dental issues lately, even though I brush regularly. Drink beer with friends on weekends. Can beer actually cause cavities? Never thought about it affecting my teeth.

Yes, it can. Beer is acidic and often contains sugars that can weaken tooth enamel, leading to cavities. I constantly tell my kids that any sugary or acidic drink can damage teeth, so rinsing your mouth with water right after is very important.

Beer contains carbohydrates and sugars, and its acidic nature can erode enamel. Since I manage diabetes, I also watch my dental health closely as high blood sugar worsens dental issues. Avoiding sweet, yeasty beers is definitely safer for your teeth.

Haan babuji, beer mein jo meetha aur khattapan hota hai, woh daanton ko kharab kar sakta hai. Humare yahan toh kehte hain ki kuch bhi khane-peene ke baad ache se kulla karna chahiye taaki daant saaf rahein.

In my seventy years, I have seen that neglecting teeth always catches up with you. Beer is acidic and will definitely cause decay if you are not careful with oral hygiene. Don't worry, just make it a habit to brush your teeth before sleeping.

Yes, the acids in beer can slowly damage your teeth. You can try rinsing your mouth with a little warm salt water after drinking to keep it clean. But if you already have tooth pain or a deep cavity, please go see a dentist instead of waiting.
