Does asthma get worse?

My asthma seems to be getting more frequent and severe as I age. Is it common for asthma to gradually worsen over time, or am I doing something wrong with my management?

It can get worse if triggers like dust and pollution are ignored, or if you skip your controller inhalers. Make it a habit to check pollution levels on your phone before your morning commute.

Yes, asthma can suddenly flare up or worsen due to seasonal changes or infections. It is always safer to get your lung function checked regularly by a doctor to adjust your dosage.

I used to panic thinking my asthma would get worse and worse over the years. But honestly, once you find the right daily routine and medication, it becomes very peaceful and easy to manage.

Haan, winter cold aur dust se toh condition thodi kharab ho hi jaati hai na. Just take steam regularly and avoid cold things when weather changes.
