Does asthma cause tiredness?

My wife has had asthma for many years, and she always seems so tired, even on days when her breathing is okay. Could her asthma be contributing to this constant tiredness, or is it unrelated?

Yes, low oxygen levels definitely cause heavy fatigue. Make sure you are eating iron-rich vegetarian foods like spinach and beetroot to keep your energy up, and consult your doctor about your tiredness.

I struggle with fatigue due to my PCOS, and I know how frustrating it is when your body just feels drained. Asthma makes your body work twice as hard to get oxygen, so feeling tired is very expected. Please be gentle with yourself.

Haan yaar, jab saans lene mein mehnat lagti hai, toh body thak hi jayegi na. Raat ko neend bhi theek se nahi aati coughing ki wajah se. Isliye tiredness hona bilkul normal hai, thoda aaram kiya karo.

I always get so anxious thinking my constant tiredness is a sign of some major illness. But my doctor assured me that struggling for breath takes a massive toll on the body's energy. It is normal, so try not to stress too much.

I feel so wiped out after a bad wheezing day, like I can't even lift my laptop bag. What helps me is taking short power naps during the day and ensuring my asthma medication is taken on time to prevent attacks.
