Does aspirin help with fever?

My younger sister has a high fever, and I'm looking for ways to bring it down quickly. I remember my mother sometimes gave us aspirin for fever. Does aspirin help with fever?

Yeah, aspirin can bring down a fever, but honestly, it can be pretty rough on the stomach. I usually just stick to standard paracetamol whenever I run a temperature because it feels much lighter. Definitely ask a doc before trying it.

In our home, we usually make warm pepper rasam to comfort someone with a mild fever. However, for actual fever reducers like aspirin, we always follow the family doctor's advice carefully. Please consult your physician before taking it, as they know what is best.

It does help with fever as it's an antipyretic, but tracking my recovery data has shown that proper hydration and rest are equally important. If you use health trackers, keep an eye on your heart rate and temperature trends, and consult a doctor if the fever stays high.

Yes, aspirin is clinically effective at reducing fever, but it is typically not recommended as the first option due to potential side effects like gastric irritation. It is best to stick to your doctor's advice and prescribed medication for managing fevers safely.

Aspirin is known to help lower body temperature, but because of my PCOS, I try to be very careful with taking any random medications. I'd suggest checking with your doctor to make sure aspirin is the safest option for your specific health profile.

It can bring down fever, but when my body is fighting a fever, I focus on rest and plenty of fluids like coconut water. Pushing through with painkillers and trying to exercise is a bad idea. Let your body heal naturally and consult a doctor if it persists.
