Does aspartame cause diabetes?

My father has diabetes, so I'm very careful with my sugar intake. I often use products with aspartame as a sugar substitute. Does aspartame cause diabetes, or is it a safe option for someone like me trying to prevent it?

Honestly, there is no direct proof that aspartame gives you diabetes. I use sugar-free drops in my whey shake sometimes and my fasting blood sugar is totally fine. Just focus on your overall daily carb intake and hit the gym regularly, that actually matters way more.

I totally get why you are stressed about this, I used to read so many articles online and freak out over every diet coke. But practically speaking, moderate use of sweeteners doesn't trigger diabetes overnight. Try to slowly reduce sweet things in general just to ease your mind.

The research on artificial sweeteners is always changing, so it is better to be safe. If you already have prediabetes or a family history, please consult your doctor or an endocrinologist before using aspartame regularly. Regular blood tests are the only way to know what is actually happening inside your body.

Bhai, with only four hours of sleep, my biggest worry is staying awake, not aspartame. Honestly, unless you are drinking gallons of diet soda every day, your blood sugar is probably fine. Just get some rest and don't overthink these internet health scares.

Arrey, don't stress too much about this! Having a sugar-free tea or coffee once in a while is not going to give you diabetes. Just enjoy your food and keep a balanced lifestyle, chill out.
