Does aquaphor help eczema on face?

The doctor suggested something for my eczema, but I forgot the name. I heard someone mention Aquaphor, and I have some eczema on my face which is very sensitive. Is Aquaphor safe and helpful for eczema on the face?

Look, Aquaphor is good and very thick, but applying it on the face can block pores if you have oily skin. Use only a tiny amount on dry eczema patches, and don't plaster your whole face with it.

At my age, my skin is as dry as a desert, so I tried Aquaphor on my face. It works great for dry patches, but you will look like a shiny oil tank for a few hours. Better to apply it at night before sleeping.

I have very sensitive skin on my cheeks and they get red and itchy. Is Aquaphor safe to use around the eyes as well, or will it cause irritation there? I am a bit scared to try it.

Aquaphor can definitely help soothe facial eczema by locking in moisture. Along with applying it, try avoiding dairy and processed foods for a few days, as these can sometimes trigger face inflammation.

I personally used Aquaphor on my dry facial eczema patches during winter. For me, it worked well to soothe the irritation, but I only used a very thin layer at night because of its heavy texture.
