Does apple vinegar get rid of dandruff?

My friend told me that applying apple cider vinegar can help get rid of dandruff. I've been struggling with dandruff for months now. Is this actually effective, or just another home remedy myth?

I usually prefer home remedies and a diluted ACV rinse can help balance scalp pH to reduce mild dandruff. But if your scalp is very red, itchy, or bleeding, please don't apply vinegar as it will burn. See a skin specialist immediately in those cases.

Hamare yahan toh log dahi aur neem lagate hain baalon mein, par mere bete ne ACV try kiya tha paani me mila ke. Uska dandruff thoda kam toh hua par baal thode sookhe ho gaye. Aap thoda dhyan se use karna.

I suffered from severe dry scalp and hair fall, which I tried treating with ACV for months, only to find out later it was due to my thyroid. If your dandruff is persistent, get a thyroid panel test done. Always consult a dermatologist before relying on home tricks.

Hey, don't worry, dandruff is highly treatable. While ACV can help some people due to its antifungal properties, using it too much can dry out your scalp and make itching worse. Try it once a week, heavily diluted, and if it doesn't work, just get an anti-dandruff shampoo from the chemist.

Beta, vinegar is very strong and acidic for the delicate skin of your head. Dilute it with lots of water if you want to try it, and don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes. If it doesn't suit you, stop immediately and use simple coconut oil with lemon.
