Does apple cider vinegar help with diabetes?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with pre-diabetes, and I'm trying to control my sugar levels naturally. I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar can help. Is it true that apple cider vinegar helps with diabetes?

Please don't trust these random internet remedies claiming to cure diabetes. Apple cider vinegar cannot replace your insulin or metformin. Always verify with your diabetologist before making any changes to your routine.

I tried drinking a spoonful of ACV before dinner to help with my borderline sugar levels, but it gave me such bad stomach burning. Has anyone else felt this way? I am really scared it might cause acidity issues instead of helping with my diabetes.

Look, diabetes is a serious metabolic condition, not something you can fix with kitchen vinegar. Stop searching for easy shortcuts on the internet. Cut down on rice and sweets, and take your prescribed medicines on time.

My son's sugar levels were fluctuating last year and someone suggested apple cider vinegar. We tried it for a week, but it only made him feel nauseous. I quickly stopped it and realized that proper insulin management and a healthy diet are the only things that actually work.

Strictly speaking, ACV might slightly improve insulin sensitivity after high-carb meals, but it is not a treatment for diabetes. Always dilute it to protect your stomach lining and teeth. Keep taking your doctor's prescribed medicines without fail.

I once ignored my high sugar symptoms and kept drinking apple cider vinegar, thinking it would naturally bring it down. By the time I went for a checkup, my levels were dangerously high and I had to be hospitalized. Please go get a proper HbA1c test done and see a doctor.

Don't waste 700-800 rupees on fancy organic vinegars every month. It is much more practical to use that money to buy a reliable blood glucose monitor and strips to track your daily sugar levels. Real data is far more useful than home remedies.
