Does apple cider vinegar dissolve kidney stones?

My uncle struggles with kidney stones, and the pain is terrible. He heard from an acquaintance that apple cider vinegar can dissolve them. Is there any truth to this, does it actually work?

If apple cider could dissolve kidney stones, doctors would be out of business and we'd all just be drinking salad dressing. Honestly, if you have a stone, go get a scan done instead of keeping yourself awake drinking sour water all night.

I think ACV is great for dissolving my salad cravings, but definitely not a solid calcium stone in your kidney! Don't try to dissolve rocks in your body with grocery store vinegar. Go see a doc and get some real medicine.

I love my heavy meals and spicy food, but when it comes to kidney stones, apple cider vinegar is not going to wash away the effects of bad habits. Keep your diet balanced and drink lots of fresh water instead of relying on sour remedies.

There is no scientific or clinical evidence supporting the claim that apple cider vinegar can dissolve kidney stones. The composition of stones varies, and trying to self-treat can delay necessary medical intervention. Please consult a urologist for proper diagnosis.

I had kidney stones back in the 90s and tried every home remedy including vinegars and special juices. Nothing worked except proper medical treatment and drinking four liters of water daily. Don't waste time on these trends; listen to your doctor.
