Does anti fungal cream help eczema?

Eczema patches have been bothering me for a while, and sometimes they get really itchy and red. A relative suggested trying an anti-fungal cream, but I'm not sure if it's meant for eczema. Does anti-fungal cream actually help with eczema symptoms?

Actually, eczema is an inflammatory skin issue and not a fungal infection, so anti-fungal creams won't do much. But don't worry! A good thick moisturizer or a doctor-prescribed mild steroid cream works wonders for the itch. Take care! 😊

Haan na, both look so similar that we get confused easily. But anti-fungal cream won't work on eczema because the root cause is totally different. It is better to show it to a skin doc once so you don't irritate the skin further, ho na.

I had these dry patches on my elbows and thought it was ringworm, so I applied anti-fungal cream for a week but it only made my skin drier. When I finally saw a doctor, she told me it was eczema. She suggested a heavy barrier cream, which cured it so quickly.

With my PCOS, my skin is already super sensitive and prone to inflammation. From my experience, eczema needs very gentle, hydrating care rather than harsh anti-fungal ingredients. I'd really suggest asking a doctor first before applying anything strong on irritated skin.

Bilkul nahi boss! Fungus ka ilaj alag hota hai aur eczema ka alag. Anti-fungal lagane se eczema thik nahi hoga, ulta skin aur kharab ho sakti hai. Kisi achhe dermatologist ke paas jao aur sahi medicine lo.

Eczema is often a sign of our body's immune system reacting to stress or external elements. While modern creams have their place, trying to apply wrong ointments like anti-fungals might disturb the skin's natural balance. Stay peaceful, keep your skin hydrated, and consult a doctor.
